I pass this heart on to show appreciation for the only thing that has seemed to stay consistent in my life: the love of my mother. I want to thank my mom for starting and ending my day with a smile despite that mine is often upside down. As I prepare for the next chapter of my life, my biggest regret is not returning this ear to ear expression of love to my mother more often but I start today on the day of giving to give to someone who given so much to me. Mom, you have taught me to cherish the past, appreciate the present and prepare the future with grace and confidence. However, the biggest lessons you taught me were the ones I leanred when you thought I wasn't watching. You beautifully carry yourself with so much poise and confidence. You are thoughtfully outspoken and selfless. Some days you seem more like a superhero than my mother and the way that you can balance the two is why I am so proud to call you my mother. My story is a promise to continue to live out your lessons and an acknowledgement to my hero. I will always and forever love you to infinity and beyond. Pass the love forward.
