In January 2006, I met the most wonderful man. After many years of being divorced and raising two amazing sons, I found my soul mate and true partner in life. What I wasn’t anticipating were the additional treasures he brought to my life—two precious daughters. Each one is beautiful and special in her own unique way. This particular heart is offered for my oldest stepdaughter, Jenny. She recently turned 30 and graduated with her M.B.A. She is a woman of integrity and strength, brilliance and light. She never stops giving to others, no matter what is occurring in her own life. Jenny always, always extends her hand to those in need whether it is a stranger or member of her family. Although I far surpass her in age, Jenny teaches me about grace and love over and over again. As I write this, Jenny is training for the 3 Day Breast Cancer Walk for the second time. She will walk 60 miles in honor of her Aunt Katherine who is fighting breast cancer and all those brave women who also battle this disease. 60 miles! With this heart, I hope she knows that every step she takes is meaningful and joyous to us, her family. And I hope she knows how much she is loved and that she is a blessing not only to her family, but to all those she has blessed with her anonymous touch. We love you Jenny!
