Karen and Kathy in Cleveland, Ohio purchased heart 726 for the dearest friend of our family, Lavona from Austin, Texas. More than thirty years ago she was a lifeline for our mother through a difficult period (before we were even born) and for that and so many other reasons we hold her dear to our hearts. If you look through the photo album of our family life you will notice that Lavona always made the long journey for family events – graduations, weddings, funerals and sometimes just to visit. Now it is our turn to hold her up. We know that it is difficult enough to deal with one major life changing event at a time let alone two. So we send this heart to you Lavona with a little piece of ourselves and hope it fills you with all the love we feel for you in your time of need.
