Somehow I was lucky enough to inherit heart number 1. It was given to me by my very good friend Anne. I was truly touched by this "passing on" of the heart as I know how much it meant to Anne in the first place.

When I received news of my father being seriously ill and needing surgery I had to up and leave LA and go back to Sydney for some time. Anne gave me the heart a day or so before I left LA. I kept it in my pocket everyday I went to the hospital for a period of 3 months (2 of which was spent in ICU) and it honestly kept me sane!

It was more a reminder of having good faith in the people around me. I am not religious but I do believe in good karma and what goes around comes around so to speak...
The meaning of this heart is so well intentioned that if anything it reminded me every day that life is good and that even though I/we were stuck in a hospital every day there were people on the other side of the world thinking about us and sending good energy.
