Black in Kirkland, WA, USAJust wanted to give an update on where Heart 224 is right now. It spent some time with Val, a DS'er in Arizona, and I'm hoping she'll post her story soon. It was then sent to Amanda in New York. Amanda is over 6 years post-op, and an inspiration to many of us when we were first researching the DS.
The day the heart was shipped to her, she posted that her husband had been diagnosed with cancer. At this time, I think she needs it more than it needs to move on, so it may be stationary for a while.
