How do I see all the hearts currently out in the world?
Simply click on the link called "See All Hearts." You will see a world map and each heart's location. You can click any one heart in the list below the map to read all the stories associated with it.

What is the "Love it" button for?
"Love it" options are found when reading any heart stories attached to any heart numbers. Perhaps a story really grabs you for a particular reason or you just really appreciate the words someone has shared. You have the opportunity to click "LOVE IT" at the end of the story. This click does two things:

1. The story attached to the click will be stored on your Member Area Page.
2. Your clicks will assist us in determining which heart stories to feature each month on the site. We want to know what stories grab you, and we want to potentially highlight them for the public in our Featured Stories section each month.

Can I share one story for multiple heart numbers?
Yes, you can. On the "Share Your Heart Story" page, you will find an option to enter a single heart number or multiple heart numbers separated by commas. So, if you passed out 20 hearts as a host gift to your friends after your last party, you could write one single story for all the heart numbers telling us the significance of giving this particular gift to those in attendance. Your story would of course be reflected on all the heart numbers you entered.

Why do I have to have an account to share my heart story?
For the purpose of tracking our hearts, we need to know your location in the world. And as a member with an account, you can see a listing of all stories you have written on the site and what heart numbers those are associated with. You are also able to store all your "Love it Clicks" as well as upload a photo to the site if you so choose.

Where in the world is Heart #1?!
Heart #1 was last spotted in Australia as of 12/2/07. To find out more about this heart, go to the "Follow a Heart" option on the left hand side of the site. Enter the number 1 and click "Track". This will give you an accurate representation of where the heart was last seen.

What is the Forum?
This area is an open arena for our Heart is Hot members to discuss related topics any time, any day. Chat with other HIH members. Connect with each other. Two single moms living in New York may not have even realized they were neighbors until reading each other's heart stories on the site. One puts out a message on the forum to find the other. They connect... and now share child sitters! You never know...!

We intend the forum to be an open, safe arena for our members to share with each other. Please be respectful and kind in your comments and replies, in keeping with the HEART IS HOT spirit. We gently but firmly request that this forum remains a positive place.

How can I upload my photo to the site?
Once you have an account with us, you will have your own Member Area Page. It is there where you can upload a photo (appropriate photos only, please) to the site. This photo will be automatically associated with any heart stories you write and will appear next to your story.

What is your return policy?
If you are not completely satisfied with your order when you receive it, you first must advise us via phone or e-mail within 24 hours of receipt and then please send it back. We will be happy to refund you for the heart minus the shipping cost. If it was damaged in shipment, we will send another upon the receipt of the damaged original and cover your shipping of the heart back to us. (Please note that we are not responsible for damage caused by poor care or breakage caused by carelessness. Glass is by nature quite fragile, so please take good care of your special heart!)
